Automotive Service Technician- Exam Counselling Sheet
A Red Seal exam is based on the Red Seal Occupational Standard for the trade. The standard describes the skills and knowledge required to perform the duties of the trade. Each Red Seal Occupational Standard consists of Major Work Activities (main subject areas), each Major Work Activity is divided into tasks, and each task is divided into sub-tasks. The standard identifies all tasks performed in the trade; however, not all areas are necessarily tested on the Red Seal examinations.
To prepare for the Red Seal exam please use the Red Seal Occupational Standard information below. View the Red Seal Occupational Standard for more detailed information.
